Tutor Village Lessons

The Tutor sends you to hear two short lessons from the village teachers. The first quest to do once you leave the tutorial.

A gentle introduction to how quests work: talk to three people in the south-east village and come back. There are no requirements, nothing to fight and nothing to bring. Finishing it opens the rest of the village chain: Linus' First Shots and then Martin's Proper Meal.

Nothing to bring. All three teachers live within a few steps of each other in the south-east corner of the Overworld.

  • Linus's door: (65, 45)
  • Martin's door: (72, 45)

They follow the world clock: during the day (11:00–17:00 server time) all three stand outside near their homes; in the morning, evening and at night they are inside. Their exact spots are listed on each character page.

  1. Walk to the south-east village and find The Tutor. By day he patrols outside around (67, 48); otherwise he is inside his house through the door at (65, 49). Talk to him and choose Talk about Tutor Village Lessons. He asks you to hear Linus first, then Martin.

  2. Find Linus: outside around (67, 46) during the day, otherwise inside his house (door at (65, 45)). Choose the Tutor Village Lessons topic to hear his lesson on calm aim.

    The order matters: Martin will not give his lesson until you have heard Linus.

  3. Find Martin: outside around (73, 46) during the day, otherwise inside his house (door at (72, 45)), usually by his stove. Use the quest topic to hear his lesson on survival food.

  4. Return to The Tutor and use the quest topic again. He completes the quest and pays you.

  • The topic only appears on the person you currently need to talk to, which is a handy way to check where you are in the quest.
