Quest preparation
Game dataItems you need to hand in or show during the quest, and the quickest known ways to get them. Items given to you by NPCs during the quest are not listed.
Any 2 of Raw/Cooked Shrimp or Raw/Cooked Trout count as the low-tier fish.
You need all five earlier village and cave quests: Tutor Village Lessons, Linus' First Shots, Martin's Proper Meal, Dig a hole and The Mage's Elixir, plus Mining 12, Woodcutting 8, Cooking 5, Magic 5 and Archery 5.
Everything below is handed in along the way:
| For | Bring |
|---|---|
| Thomas | 1 |
| Diako | 10 |
| Linus | 20 |
| Martin | 3 |
| Anna | 3 |
Keep every component in your backpack from the moment you get it until Rasmus: Anna and Rasmus both check your backpack, not your bank. Leave at least one free slot at each stop.

Notes
- Talking to The Tutor mid-quest gives a short reminder of the current step.
- If you already own a component (in backpack or bank), that NPC skips the crafting and moves you on.
